Monterey, California has been known for a plethora of notable distinctions: an abundant and vibrant fishing community, a haven for distinguished painters, a magnet for writers like John Steinbeck, Henry Miller and Robert Louis Stevenson, and, once dubbed the "Language Capitol of the World", Monterey has been a major epicenter for interpretation and translation service training. It is also known as one of the most stunning vistas in the world where the land, sea and sky meet. Now, on December 10 – 11, Monterey will be home to the CMO Summit. Having hosted the event in years past, the CMO Council is pleased to return to the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa.
Dramatically perched over the Monterey Bay, this world-class resort offers the perfect vantage point to enjoy the gentle sounds of the surf, fresh scent of sea air and the sight of otters at play. The Monterey Plaza sits in the heart of Cannery Row, once the thriving fishery, now the bustling entertainment center of Monterey. You can launch an ocean kayak from the Hotel's beach, or simply sit back on the sweeping deck of the hotel and watch those kayakers do all the work for you, the choice is yours. The hotel features 290 deluxe guest rooms, including 10 suites. The property also boasts a full service spa and fitness centerfor those who indulge in a round of golf at one of the 19 nearby champion courses or scuba dive in the protected waters of the Monterey Bay marine sanctuary.
The CMO Council has secured exclusive rates as low as $169.00 per night at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa. To make your reservations, please reserve online or call 800.334.3999 and reference the "Chief Marketing Officer Council" event.
