In his 30 plus years of trade show and event marketing and management, Jim Wurm has worked on both the show organizer and exhibit services side of the industry. He has launched and organized his own trade shows throughout the U.S. and in Europe, and has served as Group Director for Miller Freeman, Inc. with the overall P&L responsibility for a portfolio of more than 30 annual events in the high tech sector. Upon leaving Miller Freeman, Jim returned to his favorite role as independent show organizer and trade show and event management consultant. His customer list includes SOFTBANK, Reed Exhibitions, SEMCO Productions and SEMI. Most recently, Jim has utilized his unique trade show experience for the development and management of the Exhibit & Event Marketers Association (E2MA) an association whose mission is to engage the innovative class among all industry stakeholders to identify models, methods, and practices that measurably improve the value of face-to-face marketing. One of the industry's foremost thinkers on trade show and event marketing, he is a noted author and presenter to many of the trade show industry's associations and professional societies.
