The Hotel Adlon Kempinski is located just across from Berlin's famous Brandenburg Gate, and offers a mix of modern amenities in a historically inspired setting. Dubbed "The Grand Hotel", and host to Greta Garbo to Albert Einstein, the 14-karat-gold-plated ceilings and breath-taking stained glass dome that graces the lobby blend with a hybrid infusion of art-deco aesthetic and Asian-inspired design. This seven-story hotel originally opened in 1907 and was almost completed destroyed during World War II.
